![]() That is just a nightmare from the beginning. They have MANY manufactures providing the 60+ components, each running code of their own that must all talk together. We know these trucks and the ICE before them are a horrible design from the ground up. It's a little tongue in cheek, but there are still very obvious failures in their execution. Huge advantage to the communication needed between devices and where they have code residing.īut - they did create this beast, they need to understand how and make it update. I'm sure they will also turn this like the leader, there will be a couple of central powerful computers - everything else in the truck will be a simple switch or measuring device - simply giving feedback to the computer. You must own and design the components to be equal and vertically integrated to have a common code set. They likely already knew it, but they have a good leader to follow. They know now they have to do this different.
